For a number of reasons (stupidity/interest/concerns that the Gov will clamp down on all of this and try to force us onto "regulated" e-cig-a-likes) I am interested in looking into buying a rebuildable atomiser (did I also mention that I am an idiot?). I own an SVD, which I am more than happy with. Having watched Vapour Trails TV last night, it also has to have a Pyrex tank - any thoughts from those who have gone down that route/have experience of this?

Many thanks in advance.

i would get something cheap to start out with as it can be a pain in the arse i would recomend an aga t2 cost around £25 now if you can get the hang of making the coils and enjoy the result then think about getting something better.
getting the coils right is a pain but theres plenty of instruction vids out there
goodluck

The Kraken is a well built device, have you thought about dripping as well then move up once you have the hang of coils and wicking,I wouldn't panic to much most of the rules will not come in for a couple of years even if they do get passed. Also who is going to police what you use in your own home ;)

Maybe an igo L, igo w, igo w-4. Because they are good solid dripping atomizers & they are under £20 each. They are easy to set up if you're new to coil building & the one's i use give me a great vape & blow clearo's out of the water. Can be used with silica or cotton wool.

get along to vapegeek, who will sell you an excellent quality RBA for not a lot of money....taifun, in my experience is the easiest to work on

I'd go for a KFL clone it doesnt have a glass tank but has a full steel tank or a taifun gt as you can also get a steel tank section for it

Thanks very much for the suggestions thus far - I really appreciate the fact that you've taken the time. I'll look at them all and try to pick one (though it'll be tough!). Definitely want to stick to glass/Pyrex or stainless for the tank - I watched Vapour Trails TV last night and Dr Farsalinos said enough to encourage me to make the switch.
