I getcha. I'll have this sussed before bedtime.Ideally you want them temp setting controlling how hot it gets not the wattage if you see what I mean?
I had the temp really low when it was at 88w and was getting dry hits. Turned the temp up and it was burning. Just been trying to find a happy medium.In theory it should work fine at 88w .... just get that temp down, that should limit the power going to the coil, so it shouldn't ever be seeing 88w ... it just means that 88w are available to use to get to the temp you have it set at.
