Hi everyone, I'm new on here.
I have a burning question.

I'm currently using the Nautilus x tank with 1.8 ohm coil. For reasons un be known to me the resistance rating just keeps getting higher. Starts off at 1.8 when new, now been in 1day and is reading 1.94. It will just get higher over time, I've had them upto 3ohms. Obviously coils are only lasting a few days.
When the coil is new I start vaping at 9watts and gradually increase upto 12 watts. It's not just 1 batch of coils either. Can anyone help me solve this issue.

Thanks.

Resistance will increase over time due to crud build up, but what you are describing is a bit more than that.

Have you thoroughly swabbed out he base of the atty where you screw in the coil in case there's some keech in there you don't need?
Is the 510 pin properly screwed in on the base? are the coils seating snuggly when you screw them in?
Have you swabbed with a cotton bud the 510 on the mod?

Give that a bash and see what happens and also read what more knowledgeable folks say after my pish patter...

What juice are you using and what ratio is it? Sounds like a super-sweet coil killer...

@EmbraSewerRat Nice to see you active again bud, missed yer patter :D

Hi, I have actually just purchased a new mod as someone mentioned that the earth wires may not be making correct contact, but still getting same problems. So nothing to do with poor connection.
Thanks for your reply though.

Hi, I use V-juice liquid, a mixture of Purple Rain and Vimo. But I have been using these for quite a while without any issues until recently .

Then theres something up with the base of the atty.
Have you tried another atty with the same juice and same mod?

If you can, try strip the base down, don't know the atty myself, but there might be something either dirty or corroded ( o-rings will fail) that is causing your issue.

Thankyou, I will try this and let you know the results.

50/50 you'd expect to wick fine, never tried that juice so I dunno if it's loaded with sweetner. As embra suggests, start from the beginning, clean your setup and try another liquid to see if the problem is the juice or the atomiser.
