So. I've just ordered a load of bits from a couple of vendors and I'm going to have a bash at building my own unregulated squonk box.
I built a few box mods back in my early days from bits from Maplins (including a VERY ill advised 4 x AAA mod. Bear in mind this was nearly 5 years ago and we didn't know any better ) so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
I'll be trying to use modmakers wood enclosure for my first attempt, fettling and sanding as necessary but if all goes to plan and I enjoy it I'll have a bash at making an enclosure for Mark II. Might even have a go at regulated for that one.
If anyone's interested, ill post some very amateurish pics of he build as it happens.

I'm certainly interested! Looking to build either a DNA75 or Evic Mini board squonker so it all helps!

Funnily enough I've spent the rare couple of minutes free from imbeciles at work sketching out a DIY squonker.... Interested to see what you use and how you put it aw together!

Uh oh, the pressure's on then....
I feel like a bit of a fraud using a premade box but tough noogies, I don't have the time right now o teach myself boxmaking

You almost make it sound interesting

Would love to have a bash at making my own box and would be willing to pay someone to put the electronics together in a cardboard or similar box for a starter to allow me to make my own box out of aluminium and thermal setting plastic.
