Self build

The only thing is, now I want to do a PWM in a handmade box, but I have no idea how to not make it look like an M-Vapes clone :(.
I mean, if I had never seen an M-Vapes squonker, mine would look the same (in my head anyway) but since I have, I can't in good conscience copy it.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much. Have a look around, there's only so much you can do with a box. Most of the squonk boxes I've seen all look pretty much alike. I've never seen inside a squonk and decided to build one, had an idea in my head of how to simply wire up a mech with copper strip, hodge40 sent me a couple of pics of a couple of his and it's exactly the same in two of them. Even down to the simple switch.
Just make it and enjoy it.

Fair play, I will.
It won't be exactly alike, I'll be using a different pot for a start, and I doubt I'll route the wires the same way.

Sweet job mate.
A tip for anyone looking to make their first with a board. Buy a cheap low powered soldiering iron. I fix guitars for a living and I still get lazy and can't be bothered to change irons for a few little joints. Next thing burnt out a board.

Probably not a bad idea. My iron is a bit of a beast, a 40w job from Maplin.
