exactly, and in addition, there is no reason to think that people admitted to hospital for some other reason, who subsequently get diagnosed with covid, would not go o. to become seriously ill with it. in fact it’s probably more likely simply by virtue of the fact that they have been admitted to hospital to be treated for some other health ailment.
Yup, isn't it weird how the most obvious things can be the most difficult to spot?
You both understand that the vaccine stops people getting seriously ill right? And 33 million and counting have that protection? With a further 15 million having one dose and the thousands who have tested positive in recent weeks and recovered also having antibodies?
So no, I don't agree that at this point in time it is assumed people will get seriously ill from covid now just because they test positive , literally last week it was 98.5% of cases just recovered and the data since suggests not even all the 1.5% might have even needed treatment
