I feel that if they don't go further with the current lockdown measures we are likely to remain in this lockdown long afther Christmas is done.
TBH it does look like Doris has started listen lately so he may make the decision proactively this time round.

What do you think?

I've always said universities should close, people at Brighton uni travelled from all over the country to get there & well how can I put this the students are exactly the brightest bunch as my Mrs Will tell us & she should know as drives buses carrying the students & you would be surprised how many can't even use tap & go on the buses.

Schools should stay open imo, uni's? Well, that's all about rent and tuition fees, and most tuition is done online, the students are being ripped off.

There is a difference between kids learning and those in further and higher education, further and higher education is based on a business model. Although of course, the school academies are certainly narrowing the gap.

If you want to stop the spread they should close. All learning to be done online.

We've had massive amounts of cases spread by the universities and the schools here have loads of cases too. If they are serious about this lockdown and reducing the spread they have to shut them.

I think universities should close. A lot of the big cities that have had the infection rate rocket have large universities. Coincidence ! I think not.

Uni students = dirty virus spreaders :D

Not all obviously.

I dunno really. I heard that the transmission rate is low amongst young children, so I suppose infant schools should stay open.
