Should schools, colleges, and universities close?

That's just the unis mate. The schools are hit hard up here too. My wife is a teacher in Northumberland and they've just had a few cases, she now has to isolate for 14 days as have 50 pupils and 14 staff.

They're all high risk IMHO. How can they not be?! But universities especially because there's an enormous social interaction along with the educational setting. But personally I think all schools, colleges and unis should close. I'd keep childcare open for key workers only.

hope the wife is ok mate should close all the unis and schools 100% but boris is a dumbfuck so fucking stupid he hasnt

As I have said before, I think it much depends on the Uni you attend.
In the accommodation building that my daughter is in (about 200 people) only one person has developed symptoms, the Uni arranged a test asap which was negative.
My daughter cut her finger badly a couple of weeks ago making her dinner, the Uni medic attended, and the Uni had her transported to A&E in a taxi with no charge.
Some Uni's seem to care about their students welfare, others do not.
