Raguri just seen a YouTube review of the W3 where they were saying it wasn't good though they loved it, and apparently it's only rated for 7.5 amps which disturbs me as a quad coil build is going to draw more so what's likely to melt?

How the fuck can a dripper be amp rated? Sounds like a load of bull shit to me... im drawing twice that... nithing has melted, or discoloured even thoufh dry burning it one time nelted an insulator on the chi yous airflow ring...

Yes, if I dry burn it on the chi you without realising the air flow ring has a bloody o-ring inside it, it does melt... >.>
BUT, Other than that. No issues with the centre post discolouring like someone mention on another forum, or, the insulator melting

After having a tinker I've personally found cotton clouds to be smoother and produce a wee bit more vape than the conventional through the coil method. I've not posted my clouds before but here they are anyway!



Igo W dual coils at .7 ohm with the airholes drilled out to 2mm each, will be unleashing the w3 and building a quad setup when my sony battery arrives later this week so I'll try and post another then.

To be honest, I do notice that cotton gives a slightly better vape. BUT, I can't use it.
People say it has no taste, but, to me it does

Raguri Mate, you're like a god damn steam train holy shit lol. What's your setup on that?

I've never really used anything other than cotton if I'm being honest, before I even had a grasp of making a basic coil and wick I found myself wrapping micro coils with cotton because I struggled to get any ekowool or silica through them, and plus the fact I found them easier to wrap!

Instead of putting the cotton through the coils though like I used to, I've started putting small amounts directly under the coil allowing the bottom half to burn off plenty of juice seeing as it's sat in a wod of sodden juicey cotton and letting the top half keep cool from the airflow, only problem I've found is I can only get 4-5 drips in and 2-3 pulls before I'm dry hitting.
