Theres vapour coming off it but no as much there should be. Im just rolling the wick by hand with a hole all the way down for juice to flow up it.. Hmm really getting on my nerves now. Maybe somone local could show me in front of my eyes!

Not sure if this has been covered earlier in the thread, but where did you get the mesh from? Did you flame it?

How tight is the coil on the mesh?

You could try wrapping the mesh around a silica wick, some people here reckon that improves the wicking a lot.

Having said all that, you're probably right - finding someone local to show you what to do would probably help. There are quite a few people here in Nottingham.
