What's new

sig 100 510 connector replacement (size)

got to leave for my mothers now but just put the subtank on for a couple of minutes as this is the most troublesome atty.
the ohms are jumping from .7 upto 2.1 ohm and the voltage is jumping from 3.6 - 7+. that is with a supposedly 0.5 brand new stock coil.(but then again ive never liked kanger stock lol.
im going to try my lemo whilst out.

lemo also fluctuating but only occasionally. so are we convinced it needs a new 510?
quick update
decided to give the lemo 2 a new coil and try it again. used 24awg and made a .6 build been vaping solid for 3 hours hammered a full tank at 22 watts and its not budged from 3.8 volts. going to rebuild the lemo tank soon as its empty and see what happens.
any thoughts tobywonkanobi its doing my head in now lol

Sounds more like the positive pin isn't contacting properly, hence the voltage jumps. You say it's the reverse threaded screw pin? Have you tried adjusting the pin to see if that helps? If you really want to go over to a spring loaded pin, PM me. I can probably sort you it out fairly cheaply.

yes tried adjusting even put new contact pin in and same.
the lemo 2 went all day yesterday with not even near a dry hit and never budged. i haven't recoiled the lemo yet. the subtank was fine for about an hour and half then bang hit me over 8 volts urrggh nasty.
so looks like i may need a new 510.

Does sound that way. It's doing it as it's not reading the resistance correctly. However, swapping out the 510 is no actual guarantee to fix it.

Just out of curiosity, if you put the Subtank or Lemo on another mod does it happen? If not, as a first step, I'd remove the cover and check the wiring for dry joints. If there are none, then I'd be looking at the 510 and board.

If you want any help with it, like I said earlier, drop me a PM.

should be here tomorrow hopefully. this is why i havent ordered the 510 yet just incase lol.
thankyou i will let you know what happens. i was also thinking maybe the board.

No worries, give the tanks a test first imo, just to rule them out, then look at drastic measures. You don't want to be ripping out the guts of the Sig if you don't have to.

the only other mod i have at the moment is my v5. i have recoiled the lemo this morning at 1.2ohm still jumping a little on the sig but not on the vamo. ill try the subtank later when i fill it up.
yes exactly i dont want to rip my little baby apart unless i absolutely have to it'll break my heart lol.
thankyou

No probs, if the Lemo's not jumping around on the Vamo, I'm assuming that the Subtank won't either. Which more than likely means sommat's up with the Sig.

ok quick update
was just sitting here having a vape and my volts were jumping just a little from 3.9 to maybe 5.1 at the most which is much better than 8+ lol.
so decided to tighten the internal screw in the lemo (although thought it was tight enough) just a gnats as i said it was already tight.
the coil i put in earlier was reading 1.2ohms although i was intending for a 1.0ohm build but hey ho.
now with the slightest tightenening of the internal screw and really tightening the base to the tank.
im getting 1.0 ohm (original target) and 3.9 volts constantly. no jumping whatsoever.
is it really that simple? am i really that daft? hopefully yes lol. we'll see. although i haven't tried the subtank again yet.
