ok quick update
was just sitting here having a vape and my volts were jumping just a little from 3.9 to maybe 5.1 at the most which is much better than 8+ lol.
so decided to tighten the internal screw in the lemo (although thought it was tight enough) just a gnats as i said it was already tight.
the coil i put in earlier was reading 1.2ohms although i was intending for a 1.0ohm build but hey ho.
now with the slightest tightenening of the internal screw and really tightening the base to the tank.
im getting 1.0 ohm (original target) and 3.9 volts constantly. no jumping whatsoever.
is it really that simple? am i really that daft? hopefully yes lol. we'll see. although i haven't tried the subtank again yet.

crazy. it was already very tight. now its extremely tight but hasn't jumped once. still dont explain the sub though. but ill be looking into that tomorrow.

Not a problem. I'd be betting it's a similar thing with the ST. I know it's not adjustable, but somewhere there's a bad contact either within the tank or with the Sig and the Tank, hence the Voltage jumping all over the place. I mean if the Lemo's now fine, it'd suggest that the Sig's OK and the tank is at fault.

yep lemo working like a trooper not moved once and i caned it all last night. i was thinking the same with the sub

subtank still jumping all over the shop. new mod arrives tomorrow so will see if it does the same on that.

so took delivery of a new smok m80 this morning all tanks perfect apart from subtank still jumping all over the place. so good news seems the sig is fine. ill see if i can get inside the base of the subtank sometime today.

Just as a thought, your Subtank is a full size one, yes? With the spring loaded pin? I know there have been issues with the coil not making proper contact with the spring loaded pin causing this to happen.

yes it is.
ive had it apart and nothing. but if i fit the beauty ring it works perfectly. this is why i stopped and swore i would never buy kanger again lol. oh well least my little baby is well.
