Site is so slow

Are you using BT? Seems to be the common factor. Only fix has been to turn IPv6 off. Can’t do that on Apple devices, so if available turn it off on your router.

Hi @hack400, I accept what your saying and thank you for your advice what I can’t get my head around is why all this is happening on here yet doesn’t happen on any other website.
I know this is an ongoing problem but why only this site.

I suspect it's a combination of Cloudflare/Xenforo. OccultScientist did say that it might require a complete upgrade of the forum software ages ago. Turning IPv6 off is a workaround to remove the effect, not the root cause.

Just my suspicion, no clue if that's the actual cause. Only person who can answer that is the boss...

Blimey it must be Christmas, today is the first day for months I’ve actually been able to use the forum without any problems. Reading threads changing pages clicking on different threads all perfectly normal. I’ve had no blank pages saying the page is not available it’s actually been a joy to scroll through the site without any issues. I know I’m tempting fate by saying this but it’s great if anyone has sorted it out a big thank you from me, I only hope that it continues to work properly.
