Just checking. Is there something I need to do with the o ring on the standard 510 before swapping over to the BF pin?

Looks like tomorrow is mushroom day.

No, if it's a B2 it should already have the o ring on the bf pin. Take out the standard pin, fit the bf pin, done.

I've got 10 wraps 26awg 3mm ID dualled = 0.74. I run it at 40w.

Thank you it works a treat but a bit too warm at 40w for me so I knocked it back to 36w

Dual 7 wraps of 0.5 mm KA1, 0.25 mm ID about 0.3 ohm on a mech.

Having said that - I'd like a slightly cooler build as the snappy gets quite warm considering the amount of metal in the top cap.

Anyone got any mech friendly build ideas to save me fiddling with micro coil pro?

It can get a touch warm! Twisted .32mm 7 wraps around 2.5mm gives 0.33ish - smaller coils might heat the cap less?

I can send you some 0.5 Ni80 and 316L if you want to try something different? I've got Ni80 in my Derringer at 0.26 and it ramps quickly.

I've got some 316L at 0.4 and 0.5 mm (thank fuck you didn't use AWG or I'd have done a sick in my mouth).

My build at the mo is .3 ish so I guess it's a fact of life with the snappy
