Squape emergency

It's an emergency because I'm getting reet vexed.

My first build - 1.2ohm microcoil and cotton worked a treat. Made it my best ever vape.

I've rebuilt this thing so many times it's getting stupid now. Every time it's not wicking fast enough. More cotton, less cotton, same result. Only a tiny bit protruding down the sides, just like before.

Airflow is great, build looks great but I'm sick of cotton hits and rebuilding.

So - does any one use one with silica or Voodoowool? What size, where do you place it?

When I had mine I only put the cotton in the top channel and cut off flush at the side channels none going down the sides.
I found if cotton went down the side channels it stopped wicking.

Never used silica in mine so cant help any further

Same experience as above.....always cut the cotton so it was curtailed at the edges of the deck.

2.5-3mm silica. On my clone it must go right down the slots or it'll leak like crazy. I know the Squape instructions say not to do this, but leak city if I don't. No wicking issues here and mine is at around 0.4 ohms.
