So decided to go for it and love this set up. Dovpo Topside with Wotofo Profile. Only issue so far is the cotton looks slightly brown under the mesh already, I'm thinking this is just because it's a high sugar juice as it doesn't taste burnt.

A foray into squonking..

Got the Luna today from a B&M after I’d ordered an e-Phoenix fury and promptly sent it back as I didn’t think much of it at all - the Luna is much better and worked out a fair whack cheaper too!

I’d bought the sun box Daytona mini online earlier in the week to go on the fury but now it’s sat happily on the Luna.

Must say it’s a nice vape, pretty much perfect for me now I’ve opened up the air hole from 1mm to 1.5mm.

So, I didn’t want to go mad as I’m usually MTL RTA on a regulated mod so this is quite a big difference. I’m primarily seeing how I get on through the day with it so tomorrow could be a good indication..

Same setup as I have. I find with all three of my Profiles the cotton can go slightly brown early on but it does not affect flavour or performance. I also find that the mesh gunks up before the cotton loses flavour and you have to rewick and dry burn the mesh. The meshes last for ages tho so its only cotton. Hope it helps.

Yeah it doesn't seem to have discoloured much more now. Just trying to get used to how often to squonk, only 1 slightly dry hit that brought a tear to my eye.

What cotton have you been using to rewick? I've got some native wicks stuff but not sure it'll be good enough for the mesh.

Best cotton I find is CB Prime, more absorbent than the Wotofo cotton & last a good while. As long as you use enough to stop sagging you should be fine.

I use the Wotofo cotton. I have tried Muji and Prime but didn't find either as good as Wotofo but probably down to my wicking skills. I found it difficult to get enough cotton under the mesh with them. I have tried 3 x 3mm wotofo in my Unity and that seems to work OK so i ordered some Firebolt because a few people have said it works really well in the Profile.

With Prime I just cut a piece bit wider than the deck, gentle fluff & roll. I find it easier to undo one clamp & lift the mesh to get the cotton in & refit the mesh & give it a haircut. Seen the Firebolt method but personally too tight to use 3 at a time. A full Muji teased out & then rolled like a pancake works ok too but there's about a tank used before it breaks in & you don't taste it.

More like a squonk checkout. Just cleaning and refilling the black one, and the top fell off. Then put the GR-1 on the red one that wouldn't fire [emoji35] The GR-1 is now sat on an atty gasket, and firing fine, which is probably down to the slightly longer 510 pin it has.

I'm starting to regret buying these fekers, even though their one of my fav mods. I wish they'd do a mech version.
