Not had much luck there. Mines still ok although it doesn't get hammered. Agree about them being better if they were a mech.

They're well used but not hammered, not even dropped once. I'll glue the plate back on later, and see how long it lasts.

Thought they were secured to the 510 somehow, not glued

Nope, a couple of dabs of CA or epoxy by the look of it.
