its been around ages-lukkos do a posh one- supposed to help u get more liquid out before refilling- nice solution to a non issue [emoji6]

I thought it was to stop it sticking to the bottom of the bottle as it has the groove on it?

Another cheap alternative would be to cut the bottom of the tube on a slant.
