Hi all,

just to say Third time lucky

I have a UD AGI and wondered what it was like setup geni styley, well my first attempt worked but juice failing to get to the coil too well. The problem I now think was I didnt maintain the straw shape too well and perhaps strangled it a bit.

Second attempt well lets just say was delivering up too much juice but was 100% working, made with a paperclip but was a plastic coated clip but I think too fat a hole through the middle. 4cm x 2.8cm

Third attempt normal paperclip 4cm x 3cm and im away and it vapes a dream. Im likeing it better than silica which is how I was using it previously.

Hi,

I've got an UD AGI on the way to me I'm glad you got yours working great.

Did you have any problems with hot spot as I've read the positive post is a bit far from the wick hole.

firing dry it wasnt a major and the coil wasnt glowing even. Its my first re-buildable and tbh the coil on the ss wick isnt super great as I had to faff about with it a bit but will re-do.
The other thing im finding with the UD AGI is that the draw for me is a bit tight so I will be drilling the air hole a little bigger. Its ok dont get me wrong but id prefer it bigger.

I have up until now only used it with silica but tbh the ss mesh is loads better, nice juice flow to the coil and its a cleaner tasting vape with no chance of dry hits im finding

hope you get on with it ShaBing I found it quite easy to coil etc

Got my AGI working great and made the coiling easier by adding a spring and washer so its just wrap it and trap.

I had a real issue the other day, one day it was fine next burning juice........ tried new coil hot spots on the top........ new ss wick same............ took a deep breath and started over all good again and tbh better than before so after the frustration alls good once more in my vaping world. I havent a spring that I know of but tbh dont find the post a problem anyway.
