Cats are also awesome but a dog plays such a huge role in turning a house in to a home.

You can own a cat and barely know it. It's like looking after a self sufficient adult. A dog on the other hand is like raising a child.

Blue (Russian Blue) is an absolute shit bag that steels stuff and Sasha (50/50 mix) Labradoodle is over ten now but still bat shit crazy and acts like a puppy.

Been thinking about this thread. I'm not a believer in wishing time away, and I need brain food, so I've taken some time to read big long books (or re-read some) and catch up with old films that I would usually feel guilty for spending time on. That's not got any outstanding jobs done, but it's helped my state of mind hugely as it's felt like a treat rather than a penance.

Seems like you have a plan @StrawberryRipple I don't do cats, but a mutt, esp. a springer spaniel, well, one saved me from self destruction (call it depression), some years ago.

Started off at Wickes around 09:30 but they weren't actually letting people in just serving from the door so sacked that off.
Went Wilco next found a few bits including yard brush heads but no handles.
Place was baron and cleaned out of a lot of stuff.
Won't be sweeping the back yard any time soon.
