There is a huge difference in staying in and doing nothing through choice compared to the current situation.
People are losing their mojo, there's only so many times you can walk room to room, watch TV, eat etc before the craving to get out and do something, look at things, buy something you've been saving for.
As I've openly said, I don't do much but I still used to enjoy browsing round charity shops, nipping to the supermarket, going BHF or IKEA etc to look around and plan ideas. Going for coffee and people watching, taking advantage of the weather and going to the beach
I can't sit in an online queue for hours just to find out how much a tin of paint or a grout pen costs, there's only so many times I can look at IKEA online as how something looks in real life could be different to a photo.
Not sure about anyone else, and I am really grateful, but working at home feels like there is no separation. The work / life balance I've craved for years has instantly vanished, there is no door to close at the end of a working day, any annoyances from work are then still with me and brew all night or over days.
