I was in the pub a couple of weeks ago when two of "Glasgow's Finest" came to speak to the owner about an assault that had happened outside his pub a week or so before (nothing to do with the pub I might add) and there was me sitting in the corner chugging on a chi you enveloped in clouds.....Needless to say I was waiting for the pull, as One of them was giving me the evil eye...he kept staring at me as I just kept "Smoking" in an establishment where smoking is banned...He must have thought better of it as in the end they just left.....But you could see the cogs working in his head saying, "Why is that guy smoking in a non smoking pub"

I was waiting to "Educate" him, but never got the chance.....

Iam not nor never will condone violence or threats or generally being arsey with the police, i have a lot of ex service mates that have joined the dark side and i commend them for it, yeah it only takes one bad apple...
Anyway, the service police are generally regarded in all circles as 'the plastic police' and i do like mocking them, only because i am mates with the Chief and she is awesome!
My endeavours still continue with vaping on military establishments, just hope it gets viewed in a good light with a view to being allowed even if it is discretionary!

I think my post may have been misunderstood slightly, so I'll clarify a few things:

1) I wasn't hiding my e-cig, never have, never will. Just had the drip tip up my sleeve to keep the rain out of the atty, as it was raining heavy enough to flood the tiny dripper.

2) I would never make petty complaints, and I don't try baiting the cops, just vape like crazy when I see them on the hopes that the same officer/officers decide to try the whole thing again, in a setting where it isn't pitch black(11:30pm) and raining so hard you could barely see your feet.

I don't hold a grudge with police in general, and go out of my way to educate anyone about my e-cig if someone asks me or shows interest. I just hope to see the policemen that harassed me and made me feel like that punished, but the only way that is even remotely possible is if the same men harass me again. When I filed the complaint I was told because I had no names, badge numbers, or even the license plate from the car the complaint would be filed but no one could be punished as there would be a lack of info to pinpoint the culprits.

yet to have anyone pay much notice of my vaping. on the other hand ive been stopped by police several times when out and about with my camera. and thats an area of misinformed ignorance thats as bad as the vaping scene. the whole section 43 ( now gone thankfully and replaced by the slightly better section 44 ) so many times ive been harrassed by ignorant secrity, police and whatnot for taking photos in public places and told i cant do that and to show em what im taking pictures of.. my answer.. yes i can take pictures im in a public place, no you cant see them you dont have any rights by law and no im not deleting them and nor by law are you allowed to. the arguments ive had over taking a few pics while in london still amazes me to this day and hasnt gotten any better and no doubt i will at some point come across similar ignorant jobsworths who think they know better and i will point them in the right direction ( normally with 2 fingers)
