No you where right to comment, I can hand carve words in stone & wood , undo nuts & bolts , work out and understand diagrams, but come to writing things down in the correct and proper way duh , who knows if I'd had an English teacher who cared for all his pupils meaning like me the slow ones it could have been better, I did listen and didn't mess about just never got to truly understand it.

I can remember most of my teachers commenting to my parents I wouldn’t amount to much, no special needs teachers at my school in the 1970’s. I did however manage to get a 1st class honours degree in fine art sculpture, thanks to a nice understanding secretary who corrected and typed up my thesis before submitting.
