Hello everyone, good to be here and hoping I can gain and give some advice by joining this forum, all be it my wife and I have only been vaping a few months but the learning curve has been quite something!.

So basically, we started with a BluPro to get off the fags (20+ each per day) and that lasted about a month and we then went onto an Endura T18E looking for a little more flavour and more economy with the replacement coils. This has been going well for us for the last month or so, but recently I've found myself chain vaping which pretty much kills the coils in a few days and I can't work out whether it's because I need more nicotine or it's just a natural progression for vaping (most I've spoke to do say it is likely to be the latter). We went from 18mg to 12 then 8 and currently on 6mg. I've tried going back to the stronger nicotine but it's now too harsh for my throat and I still didn't feel it was giving me the "hit" I was looking for. The battery life is also poor for my style of vaping now and what was at the beginning a great starter vape has become a chore!.

I've tried looking for another vape that will give me the battery life I think I need (2000mah+) whilst still allowing mouth to lung vaping (I can't do direct to lung, tried it and gagged!) and will provide the flavour hit I crave whilst not burning a coil per 2 days lol, but I've drawn a blank. Chances are, such a vape doesn't exist in the format I am looking for and that is a simple pen style with easy replacement coils like the T18/T22. I realise to get what I'm looking for I might need to start messing around with my own coils and cotton but if I can at all avoid that I would like to, for now anyway, so long story short, can anyone advise on what they would consider to be the most suitable MTL vape for my needs (i.e. bit of a chain vaper, need bigger battery and don't want to mess with my own coils at the moment) :)
Thanks in advance
Marko

Hi and welcome. What juice are you vaping? If it contains a lot of sweetener this can cut short the life of coils dramatically. Also the chain vaping wont help this also.
For a stock coil set up the Innokin Kroma-A with Zenith Tank is very popular and has some flexibility. It has 2000 MAH internal battery, but you can adjust your wattage. It comes with a 1.6 and 0.8 ohm coil, both of which can be vaped MTL. The tank is a no fuss easy to fill and replace coils system. Worth a look.

You would be able to get this cheaper ordering from China, which many here do. A lot of people use Fasttech.

Hi there Marko :)

The only issue using MTL coils is that should you start chain vaping them, they can overheat and burn out faster as a consequence thanks to the smaller airflow holes. Tanks like the Aspire Nautilus 2 are among the best MTL tanks that use a pre made coil, however if you start chain vaping it will still become hot and burn out faster.

The only real solution I could see is to go for a sub ohm set up, which will allow you to chain vape more without burning the coil out quite as fast. You can purchase MTL rebuildable tanks but if you are wanting to avoid those then a sub ohm set up is perhaps best.

Mod wise there is plenty of choice if you are looking for a larger battery, you would just need to choose one which suits your personal preference. The good thing is that the wattage output of bigger battery mods is virtually the same, so you it's all down to what you like the look of! :D

Hi rew, thanks for the reply :)
I've been through a few different juices, from making my own to buying from vape shops but unbelievably the nicest juice I've tried (and I know I'll be probably be hammered here) is from the onepoundliquid online store. I'm doing 50/50 but have tried upping both PG and VG for my own juices but for what I'm using to vape I've found 50/50 is probably the best and as I say from all the juices I've tried I always seem to resort back to the pound liquids which give me the best flavour. I can't be sure of the sweetener content in these liquids but I'd be more confident of my vaping habits causing me the issue than anything, but I am awaiting more premium concentrate and me and my son are making our own, I've already went through a 30ml of Red Astaire concentrate and loved it, but as I say after a few days it's burn city!! I'll check out that link too :) Thanks again

Hi TECC, probably going to show my newbie side now, but I always thought "sub" vaping was for direct to lung and not MTL? I had been looking at the SMOK range, but as the bigger MAH one's were predominantly sub ohm I discounted those because I still want the MTL experience.

You aren't wrong :) Sub Ohm is generally direct lung, although that being said you can get sub ohm coils with MTL tanks like the Nautilus 2, which has a 0.7ohm option, its more the fact that with a decreased airflow, the coils will get hotter and burn out if chain vaped. If you bought a mod only rather than a kit, you can just stick your tank on that device and vape it as you usually would do, the mod only provides the power to your tank so you can still vape as you do now, it will just last longer in between a charge :)

Ah right, with you, after looking at AJT's and rew's recommendation I think you guys are singing from the same song sheet so I think that's maybe the way for me to go, at least then, from what I can understand, it's a little more difficult for me to "outgrow" the device as a mod is a great deal more adaptable than a simple starter kit. I didn't really want to go down that particular route, but I can see now that I could try another half dozen simple starter kits and still have the issue of needing more from my vape - probably more laziness on my part than anything but I had decided to upgrade anyway so may just pay a little extra to get the right kit which will last me a great deal longer and satisfy my ongoing needs :) All I need to do now is not blow myself up by confusing watts, ohms, mahs lol but I guess we all start at the beginning at some point!

Yep, 50/50 for Mtl vaping is a safe bet.
I wouldn't knock onepoundliquid. They have a good reputation on here.
