Suggestions for a new vaper in need of more

For a stock coil set up the Innokin Kroma-A with Zenith Tank is very popular and has some flexibility. It has 2000 MAH internal battery, but you can adjust your wattage. It comes with a 1.6 and 0.8 ohm coil, both of which can be vaped MTL. The tank is a no fuss easy to fill and replace coils system. .

Just wanted to keep everyone updated on how I progressed with this one, and after a lot of scouring the net and YouTube based on the recommendations here I finally narrowed my choice down to either rew's suggestion of the Kroma or the Aspire Nautilus 2 tank but ultimately a few reviews of the Nautilus 2 tanks claimed the tank itself was a bit of a pain to refill, and would sometimes have juice gurgle and spit - that, together with having to completely remove the outer tank itself just to fill wasn't something I reckoned my wife in particular wouldn't want to be hassled with. Reviews on the Kroma, and the Zenith tank in particular were pretty much 99% positive and I liked the idea of the easy twist, fill, close setup too. So, I've already ordered my new Kroma-A with Zenith Tank and can't wait to give it a whirl, hopefully will receive on Friday and although I can't claim to know what the hell I'm doing in regards to ohms, watts, etc I'll certainly come back and give my newbie opinion on how I find it :)
Thanks again all for the recommendations and here's hoping the Zenith coils last longer than a few days of my vaping!!

I would suggest increasing your nic again. There’s no real benefit to reducing nic unless you actually want to quit nic - and if you do it’s better to do it very gradually - or if for some reason you find high nic unpleasant.

There’s no point endlessly puffing the thing just to get enough nic and financially it doesn’t make sense either, going through x more juice when you can just buy stronger bottles and vape less.

I do seriously intend to give the stronger nic's another shot, but I do think it's a combination of not getting the flavour hit I need constantly as well as possibly not enough nic. One is probably bouncing me off the other, but I'm expecting a delivery of concentrate too so I can make my own, probably go back to something like 8 or 10mg to start and see how I go with that, any higher and I did find it a little harsh for my throat :)

I started with 18 over a year and a half ago, went down to 10, then 6, then briefly 3 and since then (a year and a bit ago) gradually went back to 6, 12 and now I sometimes mix a bottle of 18. It makes sense to me, I puff less liquid, go through less battery and don’t find myself chain puffing to get the nic hit.

Thing is, I don't really know at the minute if it is because of the lower nic that I am finding myself chain vaping, I'd have said my wife was a heavier smoker than myself and she seems fine with the lower nic, but I do seem to be searching for that "something" but I'm pretty sure it's the flavour hit and experience of vaping that I'm more looking for that the nic hit, I could be totally wrong and once I hit a stronger nic things could settle down and I'm expecting both the new kit and concentrates to arrive before the weekend so I'll likely make up a 10mg and 8mg juice and start with the 10, see how I go, and take it from there :)

It comes with 0.8 and 1.6 ohm coils. It states on the coils the wattage range. Start at the lower end and work up in small increments. That's all you really need to know if you stay in Power/ Variable Wattage mode.

What I would be thinking is, were you chain vaping also with the higher nic? Or has it gradually started as you gradually reduced the nic? If so I think we can assume the nic is the factor.

The reason I suggested this is that it seems there can be an imperative when people start vaping to reduce nic. I know I had it, and read posts that suggest it’s a quite common thing. But reducing nic too early can make it harder to quit, and unless you want to quit vaping there’s not really any benefit to reducing it, unless you just want to.

Cheers rew, are you suggesting that I start with the 0.6 coil (bearing in mind I'm MTL just now), if so are we talking about increasing the wattage to the tolerable allowance for that coil, and see how it feels or am I better just going straight in with the 1.6 and start low and build up on that one :)

I wouldn't say I was chain vaping to begin with, but I was happy with the flavour I was getting originally, the T18E did seem to be giving me decent flavour and by the time I had this vape I was down to 8mg, as I say, at the start I was OK with it but then eventually came down to 6mg, I know having said that 2mg could probably make all the difference and I wouldn't discount it, but interestingly I've just found a bottle of 11mg cherry menthol and using 6mg red astaire at the moment so I'm topping up the tank with the 11mg and will continue to vape this and see if it helps :)
