Suggestions for a new vaper in need of more

With 18mg I find I know when I’ve puffed enough and just put it down. With less than 12mg I’m ok but less than that and I can have a tendency to chain puff it.

I think I lasted something like a few days on 18mg to begin with, and considered it a little too harsh for me, I did smoke rolling tobacco rather than fags, but I'd say I was probably 20-30 a day for the last 30 years (showing my age now!) which confuses me how I found 18mg too harsh, maybe it was just the liquid that didn't agree with me. I was a bit worried that the vaping was becoming more of a habit than necessity but no matter which way I dress it up, I'm still saving a fortune and doing better health wise even if I do chain vape and even taking into account the cost of coils, liquids, etc compared to £16+ for a packet of tobacco and 20+ fags a day for the wife :)

I'll see how the 11mg goes and hopefully have my own concentrate by the time my new kit comes and can make my own juice with a little more nic, I'm sure I can nail it, and thanks for the advice so far :)

Cheers rew, are you suggesting that I start with the 0.6 coil (bearing in mind I'm MTL just now), if so are we talking about increasing the wattage to the tolerable allowance for that coil, and see how it feels or am I better just going straight in with the 1.6 and start low and build up on that one :)

Both coils are intended for MTL. 0.8 ohm will probably be a looser draw and will have a higher watt range. I would try 1.6 ohm first and experiment within its range.

Thanks rew, will do that, but I'm intrigued how my wife will find the 0.6 coil because she has said before she'd like to have the option of straight to lung, will report back once we've had a chance to dabble :)

You should be able to get a restricted lung hit, which might be a way to get an idea if Direct Lung is what you're after.

By the way, have just remembered that a new coil is now out. 0.5 ohm which is still intended for a loose MTL, but will probably be fine for restricted lung hit. They are sold at cremedevape but temp out of stock at the moment

Thanks for that rew, you've opened up another slight dilemma for me too, because I was wondering the difference between the plexus heads and the "zenith" heads, plexus one's seem to be a better option clearly looking at the descriptions (mesh rather than wire, larger heating area, superior flavour, longevity, etc) - I've looked, but I can't find similar 1.6ohm plexus heads, is this by design because of the ohm and because it wouldn't work for 1.6ohm or would you consider them to simply not be available at present?.
Cheers

Mesh coils not available in 1.6 ohm. 0.5 ohm have only just come out. It's probably more relevant in a low ohm coil in order that it heats up quicker and works at lower watts. This is less of an issue in high ohm coils as they tend to use thinner wire. This is just my guess by the way.

I did try hitting the innokin site for some info, but saw nothing at all relating to 1.6 plexus, I did leave a comment but awaiting a reply but what you say makes sense, probably not a suitable setup for 1.6ohm :)

Just try what comes with the tank first. Hopefully there will be some reviews out shortly for the Plexus coils
