Suggestions for a new vaper in need of more

Just try what comes with the tank first. Hopefully there will be some reviews out shortly for the Plexus coils

Got the new kit yesterday, Innokin Kroma with Zenith tank and straight away, WOW! 1.6ohm coil in, and started at 10w per the recommendation on the instructions, vaped for an hour or so messing with the air intake and over the course of the day I went up as far as 13w and came down as much as 9w but eventually settled at 11w with roughly 1 air intake hole opened and this is giving me masses of flavour, the likes of which I haven't tasted in any of the other vapes I've tried. Same juices, same nic and so far, I'll loving it, still chaining a little bit but feeling a lot more satisfied than I did before. Got my concentrates too yesterday, Red Astaire and Green Kelly, made them up and waiting till I use more juice in the tank to try the Green Kelly in particular, already used RA and loved it - I've made an 8mg nic on these instead of my usual 6mg and will see how that goes, but so far I'm finding this little kit brilliant - very easy to use and adjust which was something I was a little apprehensive about before, but anyone in the same position as me who is still searching for that little extra boost and scared to move into something a little bigger, I'd recommend it without hesitation !!.
Thanks again to everyone who chipped in here on this thread, been a very productive experience for me - just need to try the plexus 0.6ohm coils now and see how I get on with those, will report back as and when

Excellent news! and exactly the same set up I used and managed to give up smokes 4 months ago, except I had two airholes open. over the next month i weened myself down to 8mg nic from about 18, and now at 6 so that little kit has a lot to be proud of! Well done @Marko2002

Thanks I'm like a child in a sweet shop at the minute lol, just installed the 0.5 plexus coil to give it a whirl, here's hoping

Well done on finding the set up your happy with.

I have been using the nautilus x with the extension kit and the 1.8 coils. This week I have got the 4ml zenith and I’m using 0.8 coil, I really do like it, it’s simply fuss free which is what I want, the taste/flavour is as big as the X but it does taste different (not bad though)

I do prefer the taste of the 0.8 coil over the 1.6 and would very much like to hear your thoughts on the plexus coil as if the hype & the marketing is to be believed then that should be the ideal coil for me ?

What I still can’t get my head around is the fact I’m doing MTL on a sub ohm coil all day.

What I still can’t get my head around is the fact I’m doing MTL on a sub ohm coil all day.

I stuck the 0.5ohm plexus coil in earlier today because my wife wanted to try the straight to lung, as it turns out she didn't really find it all that great, and is quite happy to stick with what she has at the moment. BUT, strangely, rather than just swap the coils back to the 1.6ohm, I decided to leave the 0.5ohm one in and close off the air holes and mess with the wattage. After a little fiddling around, I found that keeping the air holes to just past the first, and having the wattage at 14w, the MTL experience for me is fantastic. I'm vaping 6mg nic 50/50 Blueberry Ice and OH THAT MENTHOL!! Jeus!

What I'll do is vape this over the weekend, and then swap back to the 1.6ohm and see what I find different. At the moment I'd say the 0.6ohm plexus coil is def living up to it's claim of better flavour production, but I'd probably be a lot more sure after swapping it back to the 1.6ohm. I'll prob swap back to the 1.6ohm on Sunday so will get back to you and let you know if there is a big noticeable difference

Ok, thanks for that, all I need to do now is find somewhere that has them in stock to try for myself ?

Will be interesting to hear your thoughts on switching back to the 1.6 also.

You could try a restricted lung hot with a DTL setup. The coil is more robust so if you drop the wattage and restrict to air it may work for you.
