I've just sold my old un used off roader.

I was considering treating myself to a real nice hybrid but after reading this and thinkibg about it all morning......I miggt buy four or five clones instead

Clones, love them or hate them, they're here to stay....I have only one "real" mod in my modest collection of mods (8) and to be honest, it's not any better than any of the others....Would I buy another real one ??, No, I don't think I would, mostly for the fact that they are vastly overpriced and under-engineered for what they purport to be.....And the fact that a clone will never take away a sale of an original mod, as clone buyers usually wouldn't pay for a real one anyway...

I'm all for clones & copies of mods & attys as long as their not counterfeits ,there's a difference. Sure, they shouldn't brand them with the original name, maybe a variation will do but lets face it, if it's made well & works well, what's the issue ? I'll happily buy 'em.

so many replies. some taking it quite seriously. This thread was actually started as a joke and bit if a giggle. I would love if this did happen, because you'd then have your high end users/buyers and your ego and evod users. With no pretenders.
however the reality is this will never happen, the whole counterfeit laws as far as I'm aware are for designer clothes and electrical good such as TVs, games consoles, phones, iPods etc.

the customs guys probably don't know the different between an ego battery and a mechanical mod so the fakes will creep under the fence undetected.

If they paid me enough though I would love that job!!!
