I have been saying for a while that the human race is essentially a virus on the planet. We multiply exponentially, have no natural predators and destroy the place we live in.

Sounds like the ultimate in self-hatred ... when hating yourself for being British, hating yourself for being white, or hating yourself for something you had nothing to do with isn't enough ... hey, hate yourself for being human, that's something we can all get together on.

I never said I hate myself for being human, the thing I hate is that when the human race is as disjointed as it is all we do is wreck the place or kill each other.

If an animal is taken to an unnatural environment where nothing preys on it and it thrives and multiplies, it's an invasive species and needs to be controlled. Invasive species usually end up destroying the habitat they end up in or upsetting the natural balance in some way, how are humans any different from that?

Well it was perhaps a little bit of plagiarism or in essence quoting Smith/Matrix
(but is a good quote and has been around for yonks about humans causing their own demise)

However if he had mentioned the Matrix and said

I don't think it's "a bold statement to make" at all. Scientists have been warning about it for years and Oxford have been planning for it for over a decade, hence why we have their vaccine available so quickly. Most people have just been oblivious to the threat.

Did it evolve in China or was it manufactured in China? Or should we just blame China anyway?
