What's new

(This is it) TPD Regulations 2016

Our biggest problem - the apathy of the average vaper on moronic vaping Facebook groups making their "hand checks" and encouraging us to check their latest cloud blow. We are in a minority, as most folks couldn't care less and will rely on "somebody else to do it".

thank you for saying this.

Let's face it, it's true. Yes, it IS better they vape than smoke. We know that. But put yourself on the outside looking in - non vapers look at that side of it all and (quite rightly) dismiss it all instantly. Add ridiculous juice advertising to the mix and it's no wonder the general public need convincing!

But hey, I'll leave all that shit to Phil Busardo....

It is, I didn't want to say it as I didn't want everyone to think I'm was boring grumpy old man. :D ... and maybe I just 'didn't get the scene man' ..... or something.

I think we both get it. I think it's fine that they all do it too, as long as they are fully aware of the current situation, are active in fighting their own corner and don't simply act like dicks by bowling around with a "nobody can stop me, do what I like" attitude!

Sorry to take this thread off topic.

At the risk of appearing to be adopting a bunker mentality, does anyone know the shelf life of 72% nic base ?

Depends who you listen to, but in sealed dark glass bottles, with a minimum amount of air in the bottle, and kept in the freezer, possibly 5 years +. Will depend on how fresh it is going into the freezer. If not frozen there should be a use by date on the bottle, about a year?

General opinion seems to be that 5 years if stored correctly (refridgerated/frozen) with minimal oxygen in the bottle, possibly even 10 years
and i assume you mean 72mg nic not 72%
72% nicotine is in the deadly zone if you get any on your skin

I read recently that the absorption rate of nic on unbroken skin is 0.8mg per hour. If true, shouldnt make much difference if its 1mg or 1000mg.

Just dont go licking ya fingers..

It makes the difference between being alive or dead after 5 seconds of exposure.
