What's new

Tobacco lovers that use gennys wanted.

It sure is, I have no idea how so many people can get on with these things. They are mega popular with plenty of people, I just can't do it, I give up :(
I agree about the Nextiny. Don't think it's true of Gennies as a whole, or even the Nextgen.

Le Zephyr - just saying. The coil above to 30 minutes, and I'm no mesh guru. I'm a lazy pragmatist.

That's enough for me now, il stick to my trusty drippers [emoji16]

I had the same thing with a Kayfun this morning. Been using it on dog walks for a month. Decided to re-wick it. It just won't wick enough for more than two drags. The weird thing is, before I was using 80/20 juice, now 70/30 - should be wicking better. 3 attempts, trimming, rewicking, cotton, Rayon. Fucking thing!

It's why I like the Aromamizers. Wicks like a dripper. Mesh suddenly seems easier. And I wouldn't have felt the need to remesh in the first place...

Doesn't the Le Zephyr cost over three figures? And that in ax thing. Not sure I want to spring for that much, at least not until i'm comfortable using mesh.

Or £11 on Fasttech for the SXK version. Similar to the Nextiny.

I feel the same about the originals. I'm looking for an Origen MKII at the moment. Trying to find that happy place between the cheap clones and the expensive originals. SXK/Tobeco seem to be able to pull it off...

I suppose it is my turn and as I haven't done anything like this before I am nervous. If you feel like I am bullshitting please let me know so I never attempt to do anything like this again and make a fool of myself.
Right, I have chosen Sweet Kentucky and Canadian Brightleaf.
I have so far done about 5ml of each juice, on pre-used mesh (dry burned and cleaned obviously), and enjoyed both.

Sweet Kentucky 3mg

In In'ax, 0.9 ohms, mech mod
Very smooth and sweet tobacco on the inhale and the sweetness tickles the back of your tongue gently.
The exhale is distinctly woody and smokey. And at the background of all this there is the cinnamon.
Obviously the sweetness comes from the cinnamon but the actual aroma is hidden behind. However if you smell the vapour without an inhale the cinnamon is quite strong.
Vapour production is excellent.
Gentle on the throat.
Very true to its description but I feel tobacco could be a little bit stronger for a more balanced flavour.

Canadian Brightleaf, 3mg

In Nextiny, 0.95 ohms, mech mod
This is again a smooth sweet tobacco but with a kick. On the very first inhale I felt the throat hit. But yet, gentle.
The description suggests vanilla. But I am getting more of a very creamy vanilla that lingers and stays with you well after your exhale. This is exactly what I liked about the Brightleaf. It stays with you.
My experience was almost like smoking a very smooth cigar, cigarillo more like, after smashing a vanilla ice cream.
That is why out of the two this is my favourite.
The tobacco feels matured when you compared to Kentucky which again I prefer.
Vapour production is excellent.
Again very true to its description and I don't have any suggestions for this one.

It is my choice out of the two.

Thanks Lee.

Thanks for doing this mate, really appreciate it!

I find it so interesting how you guys are picking up spice and cinnamon, on mesh, there's no cinnamon or spice in it at all, however I can see for sure how some of the flavours blend together to make a spice.

In case your wondering there is actually 13 flavours in sweet Kentucky, which I guess is what makes it a bit mysterious and hard to pick out individual flavours! [emoji16]

All the reviews have been fantastic, exactly what I was after, and hey I'm glad it was nice on mesh, on my mesh build I'm sure it would have tasted like shit haha!

When I test fired the mesh with a drop of Kentucky and smelt the vapour the first thing hit me was the strong aroma of cinnamon. How weird?
Canadian Brightleaf though is very very nice. Don't tell me there is no vanilla in that.

Haha there is plenty of vanilla in that ;)

I can definitely see where your all picking up cinnamon from, it obviously just comes through a lot stronger on mesh [emoji16]

On cotton, I imagine it tastes completely different. And to be honest I find it fascinating how much it changes.
