What's new

Totally new to DIY juice mixing

Well I made 5ml of unflavoured liquid this morning same pg,vg,nic ratio as the original put 5ml of the green apple in it left it for a couple hours ,lid on, and I have a minor improvement in taste for a couple of hits then the flavour disappears again...

i take it you meant 5% ?
try raising it to 7%
and 1 drop em....
Take the lid off ,stick it in the microwave for 3-5secs.
You want warm..not roasting hot.
Lid back on ,really good shake and leave for a while.

Take a sniff every so often, when the chemical aroma has gone away try vaping it.

Note:if you've got it in those rigid plastic bottles...dont microwave !!

No i tried basically watering down the mixture by taking 5 ml of the juice of i have made at 20% flavour adding that to 5ml of unflavoured like someone else suggested

so presuming your figures/measurement are correct you should have 10ml at 10% apple...

if thats the case i cant quite see how you arent getting anything

Bit of an update

I have a feeling that the taste I am getting is nicotine well more precisely the smell you get when you open the nic base bottle any way I think it's that so I have made a new batch this morning just a 5ml 12mg nic 50/50 vg/pg 10% flavour so we will see soon enough if I have a bad batch of nic

coincidence maybe but im having the same problem with my nic from alchemists cupboard first few mixes not too bad but still very strong nic taste @12mg.
looked the other day they were out of stock wonder if they had complaints and taken it off the market. its the fruit flavours im finding really rank, also using them at 10%.

This is exactly the same as me but now my first batch has steeped for at least a week its alot better. Green apple is a flavour i have decided i dont really like on its own but it may be used to help my apple pie to taste better but that has a good 3 weeks of steep ahead of it lol..My Bullhorn is now also vapable still not the total flavour tho but i have had to start using it as i ran out of shop bought juice and think my mrs will kill me if i buy some more after i spent £35 on flavour concentrates this week lmfao

Haha it adds up mate. After messing round this morning with no nic samples I've got a dv key lime pie coming along nice seems to steeping quite quickly. Going to add small amount of nic in the morning see how it turns out.

If you think you've got dodgy nic, try mixing up 5mls without nic and see how the flavour is.
EM will bring out some flavour (if it's not already over-flavoured) though I find it can mute lighter flavours, a green apple should sparkle with acidy taste.
