Hello! Hope everyone is well :)
I'm just wondering if anyone knows if it is a legal requirement for liquid to have an expiration date printed on it? Twice now I've bought the same 10ml bottles from a local vape shop and there isn't an expiration date on any of the packaging!

No.

Does it have a batch number at the least?

I would have to avoid if it didn't have an expiry date

Yes they do have batch codes, the first time I didn't realise until I got home that they didn't have an expiration date, I went back for more because they are so nice lol.
I messaged the company that make them and they said the expiration should be on the bottom where the batch code is, but there isn't one which makes me wary.
I sent them photos but I'm still waiting for a reply!
Is it bad to vape out of date juice?

Most liquids do get better with age so don't worry.

What kind of flavour is it?

Most E-liquids have a shelf life of 2 years or less but I have vaped a few over a year out of date like custards and I'm fine.

The only major thing an aged juice suffers from is the degradation of nicotine over time - so your 3mg will be less than 3mg.

You are correct, there are websites stating that an expiration date needs to be present - but that isn't in the MRHA's advice to manufacturers.

It is just common sense to add the date, be it the date of manufacture or the expiry. Worrying if other vendors aren't doing that.

Yeah I thought from what I've read in the past that nicotine levels were the only downfall of expired juice.
Ohh I see, thanks alot!
