I don't think so. They're not taking any chances and are throwing the kitchen sink at it early, IMHO. Remdesivir, antibodies, steroids, etc.

I remember reading elderly people with covid19 being refused hospital admission or treatment whilst they lay in bed struggling to breath. Nothing to fear of course. They either get better on their own or they die. What is there to be afraid of?
