UK E-Cig Ban Could Force 1.5 Million Back To Smoking

Erm.

Big T is exceptionally interested in cannabis and is lobbying for legalisation across all US states.

With market value being hit, continuous decline of the smoking market volume and cigalikes tanking they are desperate to open a new niche market.

Cannabis is seen as a golden ticket.

Yeah, I guess this is bound to happen, but why haven't they already opened up businesses in the states where it has become legal? Can;t find much on the net supporting this either, unless you have some links Dave?

This is a bit of a thread derail though too really. PM me if you like.

Bit busy to go hunting - but it came from investment coverage and discussion, a couple of filed-away press releases and features in a couple of the news items on the forum. Not much help, sorry.

Big Tobacco and Pharma have been consistently pushing for the regulation of everything except sealed units e.g disposable cigalikes and medically approved equipment. With regulations that only a very large company could afford to comply with. Go and have another look at which vaping companies have been being bought up by big tobacco.

ok maybe 'bought up' was the wrong choice of words, but from what i can see four big baccy firms are in the process of dipping there toes into the vaping market.(yes mainly cigalikes but that is the major percentage of sales im guessing) im not sure how many big tobacco firms their are so dont know if 4 is a large, medium or small percentage of them.

all i was trying to say was i personally cant see an outright ban ever happening and if it did i dont think it would be very successful

drugs are banned i guess but its far from difficult to get hold of whatever you fancy when it comes to them eh
