You pretty much sumed it up, we are like the kids, the mods/admins are like the parents.......... but parents do make mistakes each and everyone of us do, but as parents we always do what we feel is right for our kids and I don't think the mods/admins acted any other way here, I believe they did what they thourght was right. A lot of kids were calling for ukcig to give there side, and junglist provided this, thinking thats what the kids wanted.

Ok, but, aside from the fact I'm far too tired and too pregnant to cope with learning I have another set of parents and am somehow related to the likes of @ZT, (oh that's wrong on so many levels!). If we're running with this parent analogy, it was like the big kid slapped the little kid in the face and then the parents came to the slapped kid and instead of saying there there they said 'here's a statement he's issued saying why he's not sorry'

I don't fucking know, what the fuck am I going on about? I'm talking donkey bollocks, big hairy sweaty ones... Can we go back to not using hypothetical situations, real life is confusing enough as it is without me trying to explain via the medium of russian dolls where the big corporations touched me...

Seriously though, personally, I'm not anti-POTV (apparently thats one of the female mods( see what I did there)) but I am anti dickhead and ukecigstore can go fuck themselves, I dare them to turn up at vapefest, because there'll be an angry, sweaty, pregnant woman wanting to have a few words with them! It could and should have been handled better, but it wasn't and that can't be un-done, or aparently rectified... although I suppose ukecigstore could end all this by stepping away from the forum

Agreed, and yep ukecig deserve slating, but I dont' think the forum does, People leaving seems a bit much.

Well It's done now...The damage that is....The forum's lost some good respected members with a treasure trove of experience, we've found some members who never usually have anything to say whatsoever, but want to spout off about what they seem to think as nothing important, and we seem to have an admin team who are bending over backwards to to side with the offending party....

I'll certainly miss the posts from our departing colleagues, and wait to see what the silent minority who hardly ever post at all have to add to the forum.


I've said my piece and will now just step back from this thread......In fact, I think I'll just stop posting for a while as I think I need a break from here.....

People have the right on a free and public forum to post there views and opinions if they have 10 posts or a million and it doesn't mean those with 10 posts have nothing valid or constructive to add to the community. There's not a two tier system of members here, we'll that's what I thought anyway. Maybe I'm wrong going by some peoples reactions to this situation.

Having posted much earlier in a somewhat flippant style I've come home from work to find an enormous shit storm tearing through my much loved forum.

Right - for fucks sake people, let's all take a step back, a couple of deep breath's and a moment to reflect.
Several members have expressed a wish to leave in protest at The Forum's mod's position on this. Please reconsider, the only people to suffer from that move are US the Forum members. The Mod's will still be here, UKECS will still be laughing all the way to the bank, and we the forum members will be deprived of the wit and fellowship of some of our most respected members.

As for UKECS, in my previous posts on this thread I was quite flippant and light hearted - NO MORE!, You were given a chance to make good what a fair majority of the members thought was at best an extremely poor choice and at worst Blatant cynical profiteering at the cost of the Vaping community. I for one would like to stand up now and say to UKECS...

So Sayonara UKECS, so long, farewell frankly we are not sad to see you go.

To the Admin team, I know that technically UKECS have not broken the rules but frankly they have shown themselves to be morally bankrupt by their continued refusal to address this issue and they are tearing our forum apart - for the sake of the forum they should go...

you have no idea of the discussions or the positions of the admin team .. and you would do well to remember that the admin team is several .. all with very different opinions on any given thing. and ESPECIALLY ON THIS MATTER.

I can tell you for a FACT that the admin team as a whole is NOT siding with anyone especially not the vendor.. far from it .. sounds to me your more interested in the witch hunt than the facts though .. as this has been made clear in a lot of different places, which you are clearly ignoring.

Im frankly fucking bored of this topic now .. its bollocks. It had some relevance to start with but now the keyboard warriors and armchair activists are out in force, have lost site of the original topic and are are now openly looking around for any stray sentences they can take out of context and misconstrue to further their bullshit - and not even ones about the actual issue at hand, but ones so they can have a pop at the people who give up their time and energy to run this site.
