Ursa Quest, flavour + coil issues... please help!

Hi @TastyDerp and welcome to the planet.

Ive not seen or used this kit so having a quick google on it https://lostvape.com/product-item/ursa-quest-multi-kit/
coils and ratings are half way down the page.

the 0.6ohm coil is rated 20-28watt so best not go upto 35w as you mentioned as this will most prob burn it out.
0.3ohm is rated 30-40w. its best never to rely on ratings written on the coil so for me i would never hit 40w on these. im guessing 35w would be my max. if you wanted more cloud using higher watts then maybe the 0.2 or 0.15 would suit you better. for me though 3mg nicotine would suite these better.
i dont do nic salts but i believe these are best with mouth to lung coils at lower wattage. most salts are 50/50

now as you said the first tank tasted great and all you done was fill up and there was no flavour. could you of accidentally changed the setting to TC temperature control?
if you could post a screen shot of your screen it would help. apart from that i have no idea why the flavour would change dramatically just by filling the tank again.

oh and never appologise for writing too much. it makes our life a little easier to work out whats gone wrong.
Cheers!

So I'm almost certain because I've been chain smoking the vape, as I've had no flavour etc and kept trying to pull it through that it's clogged the cpil with gunk really fast and with the wattage not being high enough. With the 0.3 coil on a 30w setting the flavour is much better... I'll see how it goes, hopefully the coil won't clog up too much now with me vaping it less and on the correct settings. I'll send a picture of the vape later when I get the chance, thanks again!

Here is the vape and the coils I'm using, flavour has been consistent all day, can't thank you all enough!

Last question though, the vape used to make some noise like crackling etc, now all I can hear is the air intake when I inhale, no crackling. I'm hoping this means it's working better, as the liquid is actually turning fully into vapour?

Yeah it sounds like you didn't have the wattage high enough. The coil wasn't vaporising the liquid so it was crackling. Some coils do craclke a little anyway but not those ones from my experience. Also possible you just had some dud coils. It happens.

thanks for the picture. yup your in the right mode. just wanted to check as ive seen others that had acidentally turned other mods onto TC mode by mistake.

as said, crakling noise can happen sometimes but as youve turned the wattage up its sorted that. its normal though and nothing to worry about if it happens again.

this is worth bookmarking for future reference. check post 5 for hardware suppliers where you might find coils cheaper POTV Vendors & Recommended E Liquid Suppliers

You will find that a few watts can make a big difference as @Gitchy has pointed out to you. Glad your sorted an Welcome to POTV.
