In the end they’re trying to make a sale. Same as online. It’s a shame that people who have the depth of knowledge we expect aren’t generally employed by B&M’s but to be fair, that kind of knowledge costs. It’s the same with everything I’m afraid.

Pfft. I used to wear skin-tight jeans and spandex back in the hair-metal days.

Was, admittedly, a bit of a different look than the current stylee.

The only reason for a bloke to wear skin-tight trousers is so that when a lady person inevitably asks "how do you get into those jeans?" you can reply "you could try buying me a pint." and enjoy some intimate human contact (pro-tip: the slap marks don't last long in this cold weather. bro-tip: a decent beard cushions the blow and conceals any welts).

Anyhoo.. all the B&Ms around here are bog-standard middle-aged blokes who know their stuff but are happy to learn more if you have some interesting kit or younger tending toward metal-head more than hipster plain black t-shirt types* who are happy to help and know thier stuff about what their shop stocks.

* disclaimer: I'm an older one of them now.

Surprised that he even recognized the Billet Box mate :D

I popped in to a shop in Doncaster market last year, a very impressive shop compared to the ones in London, no hipsters, and run by a really extrovert Asian guy.

We got chatting, and he seemed to know his stuff, but then he looked at my mod and asked what it was.

"SX Mini" I replied.

"Yer what?"

"SX Mini, made by Yihi"

"Never 'eard of 'em".

"What? They're the biggest chip maker after Evolv".

"Never 'eard a dem neither".

I bid good day and went on my way.

@wraith tight jeans for health reasons isn't good but i grew up in the baggie trousers baggie jeans era lol each to their own mate didnt mean no hate ;)

BnM's around here are the same if you watch what's going cheap from suppliers in china a few weeks later they have it in in shop look what am using stuff
but tbh there are a few good ones near me
one just down the road plus it does cbd etc plus very good staff

down here in brighton, we loads of vapes shops, & its all the same some twat with a beard & obligatory checked shirt, calling you bruv as soon as you walk in the door, or blowing clouds directly in your face, then i just walk out, its either that or id end up thumping the twats & dont like the idea of 8 hours in a cell ;) but saying all that we have one decent shop that sells fairly decents mods & there own range of liquid & dont call you bruv or blow clouds in yer face lol.

I'm lucky having a great b&m shop within a mile and half from me, nothing is to much trouble they make you very welcome and are very knowledgeable, you can try juices, and there's always a range of popular mods on the counter to try, the main reason i go in is for my Freemax mesh pro coils best price around.
