Serial #0042 just a couple of loose magnets on the door so far.
Not had much chance to play with it yet but updated EScribe, hooked it up, all cells pretty well balanced at 3.8V, updated it and have it charging now, takes an age.
I did pull the battery to have a quick look in there though, man it's tight in there! No wonder there are a few problems, battery itself showing some signs of trauma from being rammed in without much care.
I'll check it all out some more when I get the chance. Gonna run a couple of cycles on the pack and see what the true mah is, looks too small for 1800mah but could be wrong. Also I'll check the internal resistance and see what they should be capable of.
These units that aren't charging? Can you see a loose resistor or fuse in there? Looking at the screen shot of EScribe it could just be a duff battery pack. I'd be interested if one of the effected is comfortable to remove the pack and check the voltage directly from the balance tab.
Thanks Rob and Nat for doing this for us and sorry it seems to have landed you with more work than it aught to have done. It's great to see how you've handled it though, this might not be run as part of your business but the way you've handled this just shows your stance on customer care. Top job
