Vaping = Sniffles ?

hi if you are vaping 50/50 liquids it could be the pg causing the sniffles but im most a 70/30 & get a real stuffy nose if i dont drink enough water soz i mean beer

I have the sniffles right now and it's not cheap juice I use but the strange thing it comes and go's and I don't stop vaping when it go's

I found that nic salts did that to me. I just avoid it now.

What kit, what juice, what nicotine strength and freebase or salts, what ratio juice VG/Pg, what wattage.
Do you exhale through mouth or nose or both.

I’ve had this problem, not been vaping long but I’ve found experimenting is key. Vaping can really dry you out and I’ve found it drying out my nose which in turn seems to send things into overdrive and then I get stuffed up. So whatever the issue make sure you’re upping the fluids.

I have found the higher VG is a lot better for me, 50/50 drys me out too much. I have also found that certain flavourings don’t agree with me, mostly citrus type juices so it could also be flavour related. Experiment with the wattage and coils etc.

also nickel allergies are a thing so if the vape you use have a nickel coil that could contributing? Change the variables until you find something that works for you. I gave up too soon before but by changing the different variables like levels of pg, flavours etc I am having no problems now.

maybe try 100% vg with no flavour and see if you have issues, the reintroduce pg, then flavours etc, it’s like finding a food allergy.

ahh the trusted istick40TC my second ever kit i bought after the istick30.
one issue we saw when this first came out as it was a game changer with TC. back then there was hardly any TC coils available and people were trying TC when they should have been in wattage mode only. ive not got the Zlide but as its a mouth to lung tank im guessing all of these coils should be used in wattage mode only (someone correct me if im wrong).
so have you ever set your mod to TC temp control with these coils?

• Z Coil 0.8Ω Coil: 15 - 18 watts
• Z Coil 1.2Ω Coil: 10 - 14 watts
• Z Coil 1.6Ω Coil: 10 - 14 watts
• Z Plexus 0.5Ω Coil: 14 - 19 watts
• Z Plexus 3d Mesh 0.48Ω Coil: 13 - 16 watts
• Z Pro 1Ω Coil: 20 - 25 watts
• Z 0.3Ω Coil: 30 - 40 watts

TC should only be used with Ni nickel coils, Ti titanium while SS stainless steel can be used in both wattage and TC.

quite a few are allergic to PG
last time i was sent some Hangsen was around 7 years ago and quite a few of them dried me out mouth wise as they are higher pg but i never had nose issues as i exhale through my mouth.
so im guessing as pg carries the flavour and gives a throat hit (while vg is much smoother) im guessing it could be the higher pg that could be causing the issues.
if 50/50 causes it as well then im guessing try not to exhale out your nose for a few days to see if the issue stops.

Well its early days yet but the sniffles was getting almost constant when vaping. Since last night I have been exhaling through mouth and the results is dramatic. Much better!

Inhaling and exhaling through your mouth you will get a better flavor of your vape juice via your taste buds mate
