Vaporesso itank uhhhh why's it spicy

My first DTL vape. Trying to save money so switched to something with supposedly, longer lasting coils. But my god it gets hot! Like after 20 puffs. Using 0.2ohm around 25W, 70/30 with a nic shot. Doesn't make a difference if I have the air hole thingy all the way open or almost close. Sorry still sort of a newbie, but any advice?

i got the itank about a month ago and its a decent tank.
best coil for me out of the 3 available is the 0.2 but i have no idea how its getting hot at 25watts when its rated at 60-75watt.
ive got mine at 55w and yes it gets warm but not overly hot.
just tried it at 25w and still some cloud but hardly any flavour at all.

0.4 was meh. rated 50-60w
0.2 rated 60-75w
0.15 rated 75-90w

what mod are you using it on and what battery(s) are you using or is it a built in battery.

25W is quite cloudy, compared to what I'm used to I suppose. I'm using a vaporesso 80 which has built in battery

still should not be getting that hot at 25w. ive got the 8ml bubble glass on mine which shouldnt make a difference as its not the juice in the tank is hot but the metal parts of the tank.

anyone from the group review on this kit have any ideas

just tried 20 puffs at 55watt and its just quite warm and not hot to the touch. ive had other tanks at same wattage get so hot it burnt my fingers just touching the tank so i have no idea why yours is that hot.

Hello @ickycuboards. I’m quite surprised that you’re getting much of a vape at 25w, let alone having issues with it getting too hot. Something doesn’t sound right.

Do you have the bubble glass? Just wondering if the 2ml tank is causing airflow issues, although I don’t remember anyone having that issue when we tested the tank.

Yes. Slide the glass off, and there's a plastic shell which comes off in 2 halfs

it was a bitch getting the original glass off though.

@ickycuboards Do you have the 2ML TPD glass (it has a plastic bung in it). If so, remove the plastic using the above instructions. That will make the tank take more juice, and could be the issue. Give it a go and let us know.
