Vendors...how 'clean' is your prep area?

Dragons Rise posted a pic 2 pages back (last night) with the promise of more when he'd been back to his facility. There's a few who haven't posted but seems DR is something of a target. We all know of the issues early doors (blame MrDJ for sparking a mini riot in his praise for Campfire custard :18:) but at least he's been honest about them & took to rectifying said issues asap.
There no target and they should be applauded for posting.....

No, I think you need to be applauded for starting the thread. To prevent anyone thinking you're on some kind of witch-hunt (you're not), your initial post described the experience you had which prompted the thread (geezer in Tesco's car park).

I'm not a company, but I sell my home brew to work colleagues. I mix in a separate area of my kitchen. Stainless steel mats that have been disinfected, all my tools have been disinfected and I use disposable covers for my scales. Hot water baths with granny teeth washing tablets for my apparatus.

I don't use hairnets mind, but the mixing area is separated from the kitchen by a locked door and my kids and other half aren't allowed in

3 clean rooms here and in france and have a shop opening this month so a much bigger setup than i first thought.

Now this is in no way supposed to come in a dickish way, but are we sure we're talking about the same thing when it comes to a clean room
Now to my knowledge that company is a very small start up, as we have seen some of the vendors who have been going for months even years, who are successful, haven't got more than one clean room let alone 3

Thats cool...and the complete right thing to do......

yup, my fault as usual :) but i still stand by his custard.

only going by what i was told. and as far as i know theve been going for quite a while but only really took off when they lowered their prices and i read this on another forum and it wasnt from the company themselves.
he said he will post more pictures so lets wait and see.

Everyone that posts their clean environments here should be applauded, takes quite a bit of bottle especially if it's not as high grade as you as juice producers would like. A highly maintained and cleaned industrial style food prep area is good, I also notice the use of hair nets, gloves, masks and the paper suits which pleases me a lot.
KUDOS to you all.

it is. and its time to eat those words :)
Although I can put a paper overall on in my kitchen.
I don't think that was the point. It was the lack of address details and a company no that worried some.
Me it's the fact I have a lot of bottles without mg labels, and batch details plus a number of bottles of the same flavour steeped for the same amount of time with completely different colours and differences in favour profile.
No amount of ppe can change that.
But as said fair play to all willing to show and tell

i know what you mean and he has listened and changed almost everything.
some of the flavors i didnt like much and thats down to personal taste but the one ive always said is good is the custard which ive had 1050ml now and all have been consistent. yes some bottles didnt have nic which has been rectified now and they also have batch numbers on.

Lads I'm not sure this is the time or place to be bringing this all back up again. Let's drop it eh?
