Voltage Increase When Firing

Hey guys, I have a VandyVape BSKR V1.5 RTA on an Aegis Mini with one of the coils that came in the box with the tank.

The coil reads 0.67 Ohms on the mod and I'm on 14W, I've noticed that the voltage increases just a bit whenever I fire the mod. It's at 3.08V and goes up to around 3.15V to 3.17V when I fire, is the cause for concern? The amperage is around 4.70A to 4.72A

It's perfectly normal for the voltage to fluctuate in a regulated mod - nothing to worry about.

Yup. As above its just giving you a live voltage reading. Nowt to worry about.

Yep, as said it's normal. Coil resistance fluctuates slightly, as it heats and cools, hence slight voltage and amp changes to maintain the desired wattage you've set.

Thanks guys, does this mean these mods are as sensitive as the coil master ohm readers I see? I didn't see the point in getting on but I see it in most videos

No need if you use a regulated mod. The mod will be just as accurate. If you were using a mech it would be a different story.

Mech mods are way too scary for me. Lol. I'm already so worried about my Aegis mini blowing up at 14W. I can't imagine having a 150W+ mech mod, I doubt I'd even go with external batteries to avoid any mishandling issues. I'm too safety conscious and I'd say most of my fears stem from the media and very little info in user manuals.

if you only have 1 mod when you can get another .. then your not without if it go's poof ...
and different coils ie:bro crom ss all go up and down some by as much as half an ohm
