did anyone see VTTV tonight it annoyed me they did a third of the show on the new gen 2 BAT device the excel i believe it was called.
now they are saying its a good thing if everything goes pear shaped but looking at this device I don't see how it could get a licence
and they're saying juice with a medicinal licence can be over 20mg/ml how the hell can that be right.
I dont think we can put the future of this industry in the hands of big tobacco and expect anything good to come of it - they will push these gen 2 devices out before regulation hapens and then say oh we can't actually sell this under the new rules gen1 anybody?
it was almost as if the vttv team and Ecca were saying we should accept this compromise as its the best we're going to get.
I say we need to keep fighting because I love my gen 3 devices and in the hands of big tobacco and or big pharma our nems, chi you's,gp paps,dna20's,dna 30's will dissapear forever.
RANT OVER.
ur opinions please people.

If the worst does happen, then they kind of have a point I suppose... better a device is available with higher than 20mg for the folks who want to come off tobacco. Any port in a storm?

I'm with you on continuing to fight against over regulation... and I think you'll probably find that the VTTV and ECITA will be continuing to fight against it too.

Haven't seen tonights show so can't comment on the new gen 2 BAT (assuming this is British & American big T) device, but concerning juice over 20mg it's always been the case that the only way anything over 20mg/ml would stay on the market once the Council & Commission got their hands on Article 18 was if it was granted med regs, prior to that (08/10/13 > date) it was a 30mg restriction but again with the option to go higher under med regs, med regs have never really gone away from the original proposals of 2012, it's just the bar got higher via the Parliament vote, then lower again via the Council & Commision.

& Loriean's from ECCA not ECITA & IMO has done some sterling work for an unpaid volunteer & has been an absolute champ.

EDIT - we are talking Loriean as in Caerulea Sea on twitter, it's Katherine (Doodlebug) from ECITA
