Praise yourselves lucky that you live in the UK. I live in Belgium, and let me tell you that there aren't that many vaping stores in Belgium that I know of. I only found a single one so far.. Everything I purchased thus far I got from the US, the UK, France or The Netherlands.. Not a big problem, except for the shipping costs..

I am new here as well. I have not looked much at hardware yet, but one reason our prices are higher would be taxes. Not only taxes businesses pay on their profit, but all our prices show with VAT on websites. US prices do not include sales tax, that gets added later. And our importers have to pay import tax. I should think prices will come down if we get more national manufacturers.

I dont think our prices here in the UK are much higher than other places and are reasonable considering the cost of import/VAT and shipping from overseas. I see kits for sale in the US for sometimes twice as much as what a UK vendor would offer (after conversion rates)

Deffo think prices would drop if we had national manufacturers, but I dont see that happening here on a large scale either.

The regulations the EU is thinking about may change that. Not so much for China imports, although Hangsen is going to open a factory in Europe, but US imports. At least if it is going to be similar to cosmetic fragrance regulations.

Hey just joined. Started properly vaping last month with an ego kit.
Have been buying various concentrates to DIY my own liquid which has been hit and miss so far.

Been reading lots about mech mods and such so have a bunch of stuff waiting to arrive from China. Lots of new shiny stuff as I want to run an 18350 mini =D

Hello,

Vaping since July last year. Been on an iTaste v3 with either a vivi nova/protank 2/mini protank 2 pretty much all the time, but now it's a nemesis with kayfun 3.1 and an SVD + couple of RDAs on the way. Limited coil rebuilding experience as I currently lack a torch and a drill, but that will soon change!
