Ni80 Fused Clapton with a parallel. Dual 26ga core with a 39ga wrap and then a parallel 26ga. I absolutely love these coils.

Yeah they look good ! What sort of resistance do they come out too ??? I’m mainly single coiling at the min.

Not sure what the crimped ferules are for?
Surely the coils arnt going to start unravelling them selves without them?

To keep the 26ga parallel wire in place. Yes, it can fall out of place quite easily as without being crimped there is nothing securing it apart from the wraps of the fused clapton. The ferules just pull off.
