What do you think of these?

Afternoon Each!

I have been thinking of doing something simple(r) in the tin mod area, and have come up with these:

View attachment 1815

As you can see, they are as plain as you like with a simple periodic table symbol for tin with the word "vaping" added. I am planning to do the usual suspects - single 14500, single 18650, twin 18650 and twin 14500 VV, and am also working on a single 18650 3.7V to 5.0V jobbie.

There would be a bit of a delay on the VV models, as all of the last batch of voltmeters I bought are crap and not suitable for vaping applications! Emergency replacement order has boarded the slow boat...

So, what do you reckon on the plain and simple tin mods?

I've reached the point of realisation where I feel that people aren't particularly interested in tins over anything else, and am wondering whether it is worth making them for sale, or just as one-offs as and when I am asked. A crossroads moment (Miss Diane) - dump the website in favour of a "showcase" website where people can have a look and contact me if they want anything. Decisions, decisions...

Thanks for your time and look forward to your comments.

Cheers!

Lee

Love em Lee ... When I get back from my hols .. I may want a vv mod of of you .. if you have em!

Since you're about Ethel...where's the best place to get an adaptor to use my cartomisers with it?

Sorry - not understanding the question completely. What cartomisers are you using? The OXO tin is a standard 510 connector.

Cloud 9 have some here - but a planned closure...
Vapeescape have some here

Whatever you buy, remember to buy a 510 to whatever you are using - for example to use an eGo fitting cartomiser etc, you need a 510 to eGo adapter, not an eGo to 510 (if such a beast exists).

Hope this helps?

All the best,

Lee

No problem mate! I've had a disaster with meters, and have some on order. Good news is - you will have a choice of colours - red, blue or yellow (if memory serves me right!).

Have a good holiday! :congratulatory:

heh ... not off for a week or so yet :p

I Like them Lee very clean - i was planning on some plain silver ones myself but again you got there first darn you hehe

Sorry mate! It took me long enough to find the tins though. I was buying from the States originally and when I found these, I was very impressed with the quality. The finish deserves to be a feature! I couldn't work out what to do with them, and then thought TIN! I'll be doing more symbol and sign designs. All I need now are the LED meters for the VV ones. I am such a dope sometimes, it never ceases to amaze me!

Hehehe i'm sure he will but i get the same style meters on occasion so best to avoid a fubar moment if possible :D
