Thing is - the larger the pool of unvaccinated - the more times the virus can replicate - the more times it replicates, the more chance of it mutating with a vaccine resistant strain.

So from the point of view of how virii mutate over replications the unvaxxed are a danger to everyone

factually that is , based on how virii replicate imperfectly each time - not opinion on wether you are for or against vaccines.

Im sure it does - but if the unvaxxed are less likely to get it, less likely to pass it on and more likely to recover before passing it on - then it lessens the danger by many - surely

Ie : simplified - if you get it , it mutates, but you are better before it gets passed on - that particular mutation chain is a dead end for the virus

From what I understand it's like @zouzounaki and @ZT say. The more people that are vaxxed up, the less opportunities there are for mutation and contagion.

Even a fully vaccinated person is more at risk if he or she is surrounded by others loaded up with covid. That's one of the reaons it's important to us in relatively wealthy countries to ensure that poorer countries also have ready access to vaccines.
