I'm very much like that Rob. I don't need anything and could quite happily go on with what I have here for years.
But want and need are proving two very different animals, as is this wretched shinyitus bug that I've still got..[emoji16]

To be fair there's not many decks that would fit that anyway and I'm not talking about that kind of build. I'm talking about a pair of simple fused Clapton's.

Here's a pair of aliens, first build I put in the Goon when it came out and the build I usally use are fused claptons which are a small 5 wrap

Well, I struggle and that's all that really matters to me. I've never been a fan of the Goon anyway. They spit a lot, get way too hot and lack flavour. The Kennedy, in my opinion, beats it on every level evening you can't fit massively complex coils in it. I use a mech so masses of wire defeats the object.

I'm with you pal I like different options and I too only use mechs. For instant or very little ramp up all depends on what wire you use

95% of the time I just use 20awg NI80.

Ahhh so because you struggle to fit coils into the Goon that automatically means the deck isnt big enough or its shit for "crazy builds"? like you seem to preach in any thread that pops up talking about the goon. Maybe you should get an authentic before voicing your opinion on how it doesn't compete with a Kennedy instead of basing your judgement off a clone which from the picture ive seen of the deck look like shit.

I only use big builds and have never had a problem with ramp up time on mechs
