i had my eye on a Drop rda for a few weeks now but the other day i gave in and ordered one as keep on hearing such good things about it....

Not going to lie, since receiving my MyBlu pod system, I've been eyeing up a few of the other systems on the market.

Thinking of picking up a Vaporesso Nexus as the styling really appeals to me and I like the fact that I can use my own liquids.

Tempted in ordering a Kaees Aladdin RDA. Can't actually find one on FastTech at the minute though so might have to wait a while.

I'm looking at some cotton and pre-made coils. I've already sourced both but need to decide on which coils I want.
I will be getting a charger and a couple of tools when I get back to London.

Had a look at one of these yesterday guy's. Truly terrible I'm afraid. Not a week old and chipped to hell. The rda was an absolute disaster of a design. Doesn't seem to be a way to salvage it either. We put the njord on one of my regulated mods as my friend just couldn't derive much flavour from it, however he built.
We stuck a 3.5mm flapton on it and drove it hard which ultimately led to a bland flavour and a struggling wick.
Bit of an atty gap on the mech too.
Shame as visually brand new it looked sweet.

That's a shame. Final product will differ, so they say. Something about 'airblades' may help but from what I've seen the coating is as bad as you say. Driving it 'hard' may be the wrong approach - we'll see - I prefer a lazy cooler vape anyway. Having foolishly pre-ordered it [won't be first time either] I've no choice but to try it myself

To be fair the lad who has it is a coil builder and he'd come to the fact that the best option for flavour was the classic squonk flat brochrome around 0.2.
Still disappointing. He said he's tried every size from 2mm up to 4.5mm and every wrap in steel and nichrome and nothing. He had a vertical dual 2.5 mm coil set up squeezed in it on arrival and the top airflow holes taped closed.
I must admit I remembered your post but had completely missed it advertised.
I was surprised it's under the atom vapes logo too. They're one of those Chinese companies with an office in Britain so call themselves british, lol.
Hopefully the final release will be better as had it not been chipped it would have looked awesome.
I do remember testing atom ceramic coils so maybe a ceramic insert to reduce chamber size and direct the airflow will make all the difference.

Excellent - loving your optimism
If I can't get anything from it maybe we can all pass it around as a challenge - but I have a feeling it's arrival will be subject to some delay...

Edit - Actually I ordered some brochromium wires last week in anticipation - but in all honesty I'm yet to see it's appeal over nichrome fused or framed staple wire. Extended trials though, extended trials...

It will be put right before release.
Remember the aromamiser on release. Four airflows in the base and the world's worst post design. Shite I swore fitting dual coils into that. But the vape bands where replaced with two hole ones instead of four and the deck was replaced with a velocity one and it became a cracker.
